The well loved and successful cancer research work meant SUTC commissioned us to create another set of animations of a similar style. This time to raise important awareness in new bowel cancer studies.
I particularly enjoyed this one as it came with it's own challenges. We came up with visual metaphors for what the cancers are doing but it had to be in such a way that is simplified and easy to understand. There was also the challenge of having many clones of cells, for this I used trapcode particular to instance cell precomps, each with their own facial animations.
